NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Matte Foundation Swatch & Review

This foundation is marketed as being full coverage, having a matte finish and being 24 hour wearing. There are 45 shades to choose from.

SHADE
I'm wearing the shade Light which is a touch too dark peach for my skin but it's wearable. If you're NC15, I think it's best to go with a little lighter of a shade because these do oxidize when they dry.

COVERAGE
I found the coverage of this foundation is a solid medium to nearly full. To me, full coverage is something like Dermacol or Dermablend. The finish is very matte and I feel the wear-time is good.

COMPARED TO HIGHER END
When compared to the Shape Tape Matte Foundation, I found the two to be pretty comparable. The NYX oxidized more and clung to my dry patches a little more but overall they were pretty close. Not bad for trying to stand up to a much more expensive foundation!

OPINION
You would probably like this if you have oily skin with minimal micro-texture. I don't think it's ideal for people with a skintype like mine. If you've got bumps and flaky skin, it will accentuate it.

This retails for $15 USD on Ulta. It's $18 CAD on nyx.ca.
