I watched HOURS worth of videos from the 'first' beauty gurus ever (Xteeener, Kandee Johnson, AndreasChoice, Jessica Harlow, Pixiwoo...). Sometimes I would try to recreate eye makeup looks with a little sponge applicator. My first attempts were really horrible (looking back now), but I felt good about it.
Since then, I learned how to properly apply makeup. Most of what I learned was from watching YouTube. I attended beauty school and learned to apply makeup on others. I found it much more challenging than applying on myself, but as they say practice makes perfect.
This blog is the continuation of my obsession for the most part. I love playing with different products and seeing how they work. I want my website to be a place where people can come to read honest reviews and see accurate swatches. I don't plan on keeping this blog 100% beauty related so I hope you enjoy my future content which will relate to DIY, home, fashion, music, books, wellness and lifestyle.
