I came across the Upbra and was immediately curious. Viral videos on social media showed the most impressive "boob-job" before and afters. This bra has hard disks built inside that are pulled together to provide cleavage and lift. The whole idea is to be able to customize the amount of lift/cleavage you want. In videos on social media, it shows boobs larger than mine being pushes together as the elastic is pulled underneath the bra and hooked inside. I couldn't pull off the smooth transition quite as well. I had to pre-pull the elastics and then put the bra on and push everything into place. As you pull the elastics, they move further away from the bra so that there is a gap in between them. The further you pull the elastics, the more the bra really buckles or distorts in shape which is one of it's biggest flaws in design for smaller, firm boobs.
Myself and a friend tested this bra and agreed, it definitely provided great lift and greatly enhanced cleavage. But we both encountered the same issue having an A cup and a B cup. Despite wearing a smaller size than we normally do, both of us had a gap at the top of the bra. Not only that, the bra kind of warps slightly so if you're an a cup, the inner, middle part can also not be flush to your boobs.
Basically, if you have an A cup, I don't recommend this. For myself, my current push up wins in all aspects: fit, reliability, ease. Girls with a c or d cup should not have gap issues warranted the right size is worn. I don't doubt it works great for some ladies. It's a cool idea and I think it would work well for larger boobs that would 'fill in' any gaps or distortion of the bra. Upbra has a great team, super helpful and they provide a prepaid return label for return on all domestic orders which is awesome.
Upbra retails for $89.90 and $132 CAD on Upbra.com.
