Bite Beauty Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayons Swatch & Review

Bite Beauty | Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon (C$32| US$24)

I love the new Bite Beauty Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayons. There are 20 shades - some are new and some are existing shades. The existing shades seem to have been slightly changed in colour. When I say slightly, I mean some are a touch less cool-toned (it might be hard to notice for some people). The new formula is similar to the old lip crayons but a little different. The nude shades look less heavy on the lips and the rest of the shades look the same. A common complaint with the old formula was how heavy they felt on the lips. The new formula is definitely lighter feeling. They glide on a lot easier so there’s no tugging on the lips. They’re still incredibly pigmented, super comfortable and not drying at all. These are not transfer-proof which I like because I wipe lipstick off before I eat (which is one reason I hate matte liquid lipsticks). If you want them to be transfer-resistant, particularly for the deep red shades, you can blot them with a tissue and apply powder on top.

My favourites are Sugarcane, Leche, Amarettto, Honeycrisp and Tatin (Stinger & Negroni when I’m feeling festive).
