The Vapour Perfecting Pressed Powder is a somewhat translucent talc-free powder. It's two main ingredients are mica and tapioca starch.

Vapour currently offers a slightly different formulated loose form of this product that costs the same as this pressed powder but it contains more than double the amount of product. I've really been enjoying the compact delivery though! The application process feels more simple than the process of carefully opening a loose powder and dipping a brush in delicately.

I have 2 setting powders to compare this two (1) The mica-containing KVD Setting Powder and (2) The cornstarch-containing Beautycounter Mattifying Powder which i've used for years.

Honestly, they all look the same on my skin. I highly prefer powders containing corn-starch (or any other starch) as I consider it a lesser evil to inhale so if I were to keep just one powder, it would be this one because it creates no kick-up in this pressed format. It's pressed in the pan very nicely. 

Skintones

If you're tan skintone, this should work on you if you apply a light layer with a brush (and ideally a setting spray). If you're deep skintone, I would pass on this as at certain angle, you can see the white powder. If you're fair-skinned, it's perfect.
