Sensational is a cruelty free gel polish brand. They're most popularly known for their one-step gel polish which means you don't need to use a gel base coat or top coat. The image above is their Polish to Gel Transformer Starter Kit which transforms nail polish into gel polish. I haven't tested it yet.
I did test their Express Gel (One Step Polish) for a week and I found that on some nails it lasted nearly a week and on a few nails it chipped after a few days. I found that it lasted a little longer than a conventional nail polish. I think it's all about how you apply it (two thin layers) and how long you cure it.
The first nail I cured I held it too close to their LED lamp and it warped the nail just like this. I also feel like the lamp gets too hot so now I keep my nails just outside of it when curing and cure a little longer.
My favorite part about their one step polish is how easy to use it is. It stays wet until you cure it and it cures in 30 seconds. I also don't need to buy a top coat or a base coat with it but that would probably make it last even longer. Lastly, there are no fumes.
The Express Gel costs $12 CAD and $6 US (on Target). If you're in Canada you can buy it in store at Shopper's Drugmart and Walmart.
