Makeup Brush Guide | What I Recommend and Don't

I know this looks bad... I can explain haha. Basically, the reason I have so many brushes is a combination of needing brushes for the days when I did makeup/went to makeup school and being sent a lot of pr samples. I ended up using every single one of these brushes regularly just to avoid having to clean brushes. I recently removed all the crumby brushes from my collection. I store the clean ones in my drawer and take them out one by one and store the used ones on my desk. I use a foundation brush once before switching.

So yea, lots of brushes... Some are affordable and work great but I don't recommend because they don't last. You'll just end up having to buy another and trashing the old one. There are exceptions to this rule. If it's a small brush, it's much less likely to shed than a brush glued in a big ferrule.

For those of you that will be using your brushes frequently (including washing them frequently) I recommend Sigma, Furless and Real Techniques. I've never had issues with these brushes. I'd avoid brushes from Elf and Coastal Scents. Unless they're very tiny eye brushes, something will probably go wrong with them.
