COVER FX Custom Enhancer Drops VS SEPHORA Radiant Luminizing Drops

I recently realized I had sample of both products mentioned. They're both very similar products, have the same product amount but have a large price gap. Let's get the price comparison out of the way so we can delve deeper into this review.

COVERFX Custom Enhancer Drops
 SIZE 0.5 oz/ 15 mL
$52 CAD
SEPHORA Radiant Luminizing Drops
SIZE 0.50 oz/ 15 mL
$19 CAD

You get the same amount of product in each. You would save $33 CAD if you bought the Sephora Radiant Luminizing Drops.

As we can see, the undertone of these are different. On my NC 20 skin, both these shades are good. The COVER FX drops look a little lighter when they catch the light than my face skintone and the Sephora Drops (in the shade I have). The COVER FX drops look a little more reflective in my swatches. I can also see the micro shimmer a little more.

I finger patted both these on different cheekbones. I didn't notice either of them remove my foundation or concealer. These look so similar on my face. I do like the Cover FX drops a little more because they have a bit more of a 'pow' factor than the Sephora shade I compared it to. The Sephora drops give a beautiful wet looking sheen too. The shade I had blended out into my skin tone more than I like.

The Sephora drops sit on skin texture a little funky. You can see it in the images below. The side of my face I tested them on does have a lot of texture lately, so I can give it a little slack, but it did bring more attention to it. If you have skin texture like that, both these might be a no-go, especially the Sephora drops. I recommend getting samples of these both of these at Sephora. Neither of these product is perfect, as beautiful as they look in swatches.

If I had unlimited funds, i'd buy the Cover Fx Custom Enhancer Drops because I like it a *little* more. It looks slightly better on my dry skin than the Sephora Radiant Lumizing Drops. They also have a larger colour selection. But the price is too high for me and the products too similar. The Sephora Radiant Luminizing Drops are a great cheaper alternative if you're looking for a liquid highlighter. I don't know if that helps you decide!
