The Bellapierre Ultimate Nude Eyeshadow palette is now available on Bellapierre.com for $50. I've been loving the shimmers in this palette.

Shimmers

There are so many shades, I haven't used them all. When I swatched these on an unprimed arm, I was blown away. The shimmer formula feels more wet and varies in appearance. Some contain a chunkier mica that act like a topper and others have a typical shimmer shadow base. One or two swipes on an arm results in intense pigmentation. On the eye, I feel the need to apply these shimmers with a finger. A brush would result in fall out or extra time building up the opacity. You will probably need a glitter glue for the chunkier shades to stick to but I find they stick to the eye regardless.

I really, really enjoy playing with the shimmers!! They remind me of Natasha Denona shadows and the Makeup Geek Foiled shadows.

* In this palette there were 3 chunkier Natasha Denona-type shadows that arrived broken but were easily pressed back into place as they have a wet formula.

Mattes
The neutral coloured mattes perform well and have a nice smooth pigmentation. There are a lot of duplicate warm shades as seen in the swatches.

I noticed 4 dry, chalky matte powders that need building. The matte hot pink, the two satin purples, and the slate blue. With a good primer, they are useable but the darker matte purple was a big dud.

Ingredients

The palette is made in China. The ingredients are talc free and paraben free. It contains carmine so is not vegan.

There is only 1 ingredient list on the back which is odd given the variation in formulas. 

The palette ingredients seem similar to Morphe kind of generic.

Mica, Magnesium Stearate, Dimethicone, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Polyisobutylene, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin. May contain: Iron Oxides, Manganese Violet, Brilliant Blue FCF, FD&C Red No. 40, Ultramarine, FD&C Yellow No. 5 Aluminum Lake, Ferric Ferrocyanide, Titanium Dioxide, Carmine.
