This is my second favourite foundation now. My #1 thing with foundation is that it doesn't look like i'm wearing foundation but it still gives me coverage. This fulfills that for me.
What it is
A foundation that contains anti-aging ingredients and acts as a primer, concealer and foundation.
Application Process and Finish
I always apply foundation on top of the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. Creams will slightly alter the finish of foundation to make them less matte. With this duo, I don't consider this foundation to be matte at all. It's more of a satin.
Finish and Coverage
The coverage is medium to near full. It builds very nicely and fills in pores. It looks great on my dry skin. Like I said above, it's not matte with moisturized skin.
Ingredients
The foundation is free from phthalates, parabens, GMO, artificial dyes, synthetic preservatives, synthetic fragrance, talc, nanoparticles and heavy metal
The ingredients look fine to me but if you're into super natural makeup (as in oil and waxes) you might want to double check their ingredients.
Shade Match
The brand mentions that this foundation is self-adjusting and I found that to be kind of accurate.
When I first swatched this foundation on dry skin, I found M3 way too bright in colour. It didn't look like a shade match at all. But once blended out on primed skin, it morphed into a very good match. It's more of a match for me when I have a slight tan. I thought M4 would be a closer match. Maybe M2.
For reference, my perfect match is Deciem 1.2 N and Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Fair-Light Neutral.
Other
Something noteworthy is that if you don't set this foundation, a press of a finger can remove it.
