If you're looking for some beautiful foiled shadows, Makeup Geek and Colourpop has you covered!
Which is brand better? It varies.
When I first started using these Colourpop shadows, I remember thinking they were slightly more prone to creasing. Now I feel they're pretty much the as the Makeup Geek ones. They're cheaper too, so i'd go with them (unless there's a shade that Makeup Geek caries that they don't).
Downsides
Both Colourpop and Makeup Geek metallic shadows can crease on oily and hooded eyes. That is because of the silicon but that's also what makes them look how they do.
The Colourpop shadows contain talc (which some people like to avoid breathing) but these are a wet, heavy formula so no worries there.
The downside with the Makeup Geek shadows are that some shadows have higher pigmentation than others. Flame Thrower and Curtain Call have insane pigmentation with one swipe. However Epic and Center Stage needed multiple passes to reach maximum pigmentation. Center Stage needs the most building so i'm not thrilled there. I can make it work but i'm sure there's better out there.
