Provoke Touch Of Silver Line + Great Silicone Free Conditioner

Left is original. Right is after using Brightening Shampoo for first time.

Like many people who take their hair from nearly black to a light brown, I was left with a brassy undertone. I'm not opposed to a bit of a warm undertone but I was looking to slightly take it down. Touch of Silver is a line of violet-toned haircare to neutralize light blonde hair.

Not shown here is the Intensive Conditioner which looks like a pigmented blue conditioner. I have a hunch it would work best at neutralizing as you don't have to totally wash it out.

If you're looking to maintain your warm tones, they have a line for that too called Liquid Blonde.

For Light Brown Hair
This line is not intended for my hair level but I wanted to see if it could slightly reduce the warmth in my hair. I've been using this 3 step-system for a few weeks and feel over time it might have slightly neutralized my hair.

For Medium Blonde Hair
I tried the Brightening Shampoo on my moms level 9 hair once and didn't see a different which we agreed was probably because it wasn't used overtime. We did let it sit for 7 minutes but she applies mousse and other products to her hair constantly so the pigment probably had trouble breaking through that barrier.

Opinion
I think this would show more significant results on very light blonde hair. The Colour Care line likely won't tone down blonde hair unless maybe it's platinum. The Brightening Shampoo should tone down light blonde hair without making it green.

Even though my hair wasn't toned down as much as I hoped with the Brightening Shampoo, I found I loved the Colour Care Shampoo (large bottle) and Colour Care conditioner for how they made my hair feel. The conditioner in particular is a GEM. It's nearly impossible to find a silicone free, cruelty free conditioner that is affordable. It feels like it contains silicones because it's so slippery but from what I read, it doesn't. As far as the performance with the  Colour Care Shampoo, I didn't find it too drying which is really my only concern with shampoo. The formula is designed to safeguard your colour.
