I really like -to- love all of these foundations. They are around the $40 USD, $50 CAD mark. If I were to choose 1... well I can't as many turned out to be favourites but my top 4 are the Shape Tape in Dewy, Amazonian Clay Foundation, Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation and Clay Stick Foundation. They all give a different look to the skin.
The concealers get a pass from me except maybe the Shape Tape - it has it's good points but it doesn't have what i'm looking for.
For reference my closest shade match is fair-light neutral.

This a good one. It's very matte so is going to enhance texture a little for skin like mine but it also doesn't need setting powder. You can alternately use a moisturizing base to customize the finish. I like how the consistency is thin yet it covers so well. It fills in pores very nicely. And it seems to stay wherever you apply it. I feel the lasting power is very good and oxidization is not bad at all. I recommend this, especially for oily skin.
Ideal for oily skin, full coverage looks and long-wear.
Shape Tape Foundation in Dewy
I love this foundation too. It's creamy and sheeny. It seems to set a little but there's this illumination effect. Coverage looks medium-high (hard to tell as it's too dark for my skin). It feels pretty lightweight actually and I don't experience any highlighting of texture. Setting is optional. The one I have is too dark for me so I don't wear it so much but I do really like it. It's very good, different than anything i've ever tried. It feels high-end.
Ideal for people that want moisture and illumination but also want to avoid a heavy foundation feel.
Amazonian Clay Foundation
I don't know why I stopped using this, it's really pretty. I felt like it was a little too thick looking but applying it again now, not really. It's hard to explain but on my larger pores, it seems to fill them in beautifullyyyy. It looks much better on my pores than the Shape Tape Foundation in Matte. But areas of my skin that are poreless and smooth, that's where it starts to look a little more like foundation - it almost makes my face look a little furrier with how it sits on peach fuzz. This is me being super fussy though! I find this foundation looks great on mature skin and skin with large pores. The finish is between matte and natural. It feels lightweight on the face. It never clings to dry patches. Fuss-proof application. Overall, a very, very good one and i'm gonna start using it daily again.
Ideal for those with large pores, mature skin, dry patches and need full coverage.
Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation
This is another one that I should be using more than I currently do. I would call it a matte-illuminating hybrid. There's definitely a shiny illumination even though it dries down on the skin to feel not so wet and dewy. It feels thin, lightweight and slightly tacky feeling on the skin. The way it highlights the pores on the sides of my nose makes me want to cover that area with powder but it looks great everywhere else. In that same area it also looks slightly scaly on the dry patches almost like the pigment is catching. It's a solid medium coverage. The shade fair-light neutral in this formula is a great match for me. Overall I really like it. It's different than most foundations. Keep in mind the more watery texture. It's in the realm of a serum foundation but this one does it really well.
Ideal for those who like a luminous look and dislike heavy foundation feel. Recommend particularity to those who have nice skin.
Clay Stick
This is one of my favourite foundations. It's very skin-like in finish for a stick foundation. It fills in pores and smooths over my micro-texture nicely. It you have an area with dryness, I do however recommend when blending to pat rather than swipe for the best look. The texture of it feels like moisturized skin. I love how it just glides on skin with no tugging. It's very emollient. Blends easily, is good low-maintenance people as you just dot on and blend. Lasting time is not long but it still seems to look good on me at least regardless, just a lot dewier.
Ideal for people with no skin issues that value dewy no-makeup look and easy application.
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer
This concealer is everyones HG but not mine. Over the past year or two i've had it, it's grown on me but I am still not crazy about it but I totally get why people love it. My main gripes were I found the shade I had oxidized a lot, the formula contained fragrance, it made my milia look so apparent and my undereye overall looked dry and cakey. I still feel there should be no fragrance. And buying a shade for the first time is a nightmare - do your swatch research and then do some more because the website is not a good place for colour representation for this concealer. But looking past those, it is a pretty consistent product. There are no surprises. It will probably perform how you expect and will stay all day. I've you've got very smooth undereyes and want to avoid creasing, you'll probably like this.
Ideal for people who like matte, full glam, full coverage undereye look. Ideal for people who want to avoid creasing and get full day wear.
Creaseless Concealer
This is the only thing can't recommend. It's just wrong looking in so many ways. This stuff is so pigmented but it's so wet and shiny looking. There's such a thick quality to it that it enhances normally undetectable undereye peach fuzz. It looks scaly and separates weirdly on skin. Also creaseless is a name better suited to shape tape imo. If you don't set this, it creases a lot unlike Shape Tape which doesn't need to be set at all to remain ceaseless.

best and worst tarte foundations. reviewing entire tarte foundation line. best and worst tarte concealer. shape tape concealer vs creaseless. fair light medium neutral sand.
Ahhh this is the most comprehensive review I've seen and I love it! The up close photos help so much compared to a swatch on the arm. The shape tape foundation in dewy is probably my favorite.
