Petit Vour November Box

If you only use cruelty free beauty and care products, Petit Vour is the perfect subscription box for you! They are one of the few ones out there that only uses cruelty free products. I know for myself, i've always wanted a subscription box from Boxycharm or Ipsy but alas... not cruelty free. Like many cruelty free subscriptions, you might get a box once in a while that you are not that into. To avoid this you could probably just cancel your subscription and buy when you see a box you like. For the most part, you typically get 1 or 2 products that are amazing. And the price is good. Decembers box is calling me, they have a Hann Concealer and face serum!


Due to the Canadian postal strike, there was a HUGE delay so that's why i'm late posting this box.

Donore Lip & Cheek Pod
Performance wise, I don't feel this is a great blush as it's so emollient that it removes foundation when layering to see decent colour. My acne scars instantly were undercovered. On bare skin it's nice. It gives a subtle slightly dewy look. The pigmentation is very light but it's there. I feel like it's a little heavy though. I'm worried about breaking out when I use it because it's a base of wax and oil and literally feels like a balm on my face. As for a tinted lip balm - perfect. It's thinner and adds some colour to your lips. They even say you can put this on your eyelids. PS. I think it's Tiger Melon (doesn't say on packaging).




Metta Comforting Hand Balm
This hand balm works but it leaves a serious wet and tacky film due to the heavier ingredients. Your fingers will slip and slide just like oil is on them. Your phone will be covered in oily streaks. So it's best to wipe the excess off. I gave this to my dad because his hands are cracked and calloused from work. I feel good about him using it as his old one was very toxic and he likes it. Scent-wise, it's like citronella and tea tree oil. It moisturizes well but with a downside.



Evolvh Ultimate Styling Lotion
I am so excited about this company. They have a legit lineup and I want to try it all. This styling lotion feels like a curl cream. It's prefect for hold curls in place and smoothing frizz. It has a strong hair product/perfume smell but dissipates. I don't like using this heavily on dry ringlets because it makes it look stringy and wet until it dries. It's best used on damp hair or flyaways. It's way more lightweight than most curl creams i've tried. I like really it.

My Daughters Fragrance in Joyful
This fragrances is created with orange flower, lime blossom, rose, jasmine and sandalwood. It's non-toxic! If you loves a floral fragrance, you'd probably like this!
