Sigma E06 Winged Liner VS Morphe M160-1/16 (video)

I wanted the Sigma E06* brush for so long! When I was trying to choose between these two brushes last year, I opted for the $2 USD Morphe M160 1/16 because it was so affordable and good enough for what I was using it for. This is a great alternative if you're not willing to spend $15 USD or $20 CAD for the Sigma brush. But now that i've used the Sigma E06, I like it much more and feel it's a must have for makeup artists.

I like the $2 M160 1/16th for lining my eyes but mainly for filling in my eyebrows. It has a stiffness to it that I appreciate and find easy to work with. Although it's one of the smallest angled brushes out there, it's not quite small enough for a pencil thin stroke which is what I want and need for my small hooded eyes.

The Sigma e06 is easier to create a very thin line because it's even smaller in width. The E06 is a more delicate and bend brush. That means I need to ensure my gel liner is not dry or i'll have to increase pressure, loosing the benefits of it's shape and tininess. It's delicateness prevents me from accidentally blinking when covering my sensitive eye areas which is great. The sharp angle is something I had to get use to but i've come to like it a lot. I also love using this brush to create tiny brush strokes to fill in my brows as well. It beats the Morphe brush in that department as well.
