PACKAGING
Stila has upgraded the packaging on their Stila Stay All Day Foundation and it's brilliant. The foundation comes with a press down button to dispense foundation, keeping it contaminate free. The concealer is cased in a gold cap with a mirror and can be popped out with a pin. 101/10 on the packaging!
FOUNDATION
This is my first time trying this foundation. I was super excited as Stila is one of my top 5 favourite cosmetic brands. I like this foundation but feel it has room for improvement. It gives a natural finish, not too dewy and not too matte. It doesn't transfer or oxidize much and lasts well on my fairly normal skin. After 5 hours of wear, it does start to break down and show my skin underneath, something I find happens with every foundation i've used. This foundation would better for me if it had more coverage. The coverage is medium, not enough to completely cover my PIH. I find it settles into my pores and really enhances micro texture on my skin.
CONCEALER
I found the concealer utterly average and not worth the Ulta refill price. I'd like it to have more coverage and pigment and less emoliency. I find it really struggles to layer and cover imperfections. Regardless, even though I don't find it useful, the foundation is still decently priced with it.
SHADE
The shade Fair 2 the second lightest shade. I feel there needs to be another shade between Shade 1 and 2. This does oxidize a bit once it dries. My skintone is 115 in MUFE HD Foundation and MAC NC 15. Fair 2 is a 1-2 shades too dark and orange/peach in undertone. Concealer matched closely to foundation but is a little more pink.
