Best Drugstore Matte Liquid Lipstick Ever by Pixi!?

I'm SO impressed with Pixi's MatteLast Liquid Lip. I find a lot of drugstore priced liquid lipsticks are duds but not this one. I find it very long wearing and non drying! I would wear this everyday the shade I had was more wearable in colour. This shade is called Really Rose, a dark muted rose colour that I think a lot of people would like.

This lipstick applies like a super opaque lipstick lipstick. It dries down to a soft rubbery coating but it's not so tacky that if you press your lips together it peels the layer off. It doesn't transfer that much once it sets down. I love that I can remove it easily before eating. With a peppermint scent, I have started to notice a slight tingling on my lips and I wonder if it's somehow related to that. I would prefer they removed the fragrance added - like I always say if the fragrance is not not vanilla. It's nothing overwhelming in scent - it does smell really good actually - but I always prefer no smell or vanilla.

$14 USD is a little bit of a steep price, but it's still a lot cheaper than the average $25 liquid lipstick at Sephora. I recommend it! You can buy this lipstick at Shoppers Drugmart in Canada, Target, Ulta or the Pixi Website.
